Hi, my name is Renee Maurice.

I hold a Bachelor of Music Education and a Diploma of Teaching. With more than 20 years of experience teaching in classrooms and tutoring one-on-one, I have a passion for seeing children reach their potential and gain confidence in their own abilities.

I love the ‘lightbulb moment’ when learners make a connection between something they already know and how they can apply this to new learning. I ensure LIFT Tuition sessions are fun, engaging and tailored to individual needs with just the right amount of ‘stretch’ to support new learning and growth without overwhelm.

Teaching has always been my happy place and I am super excited to have more room for 1-1 and small group tutoring since moving to Nelson recently. I am a Mum to 2 boys aged 11 and 13 and have spent some time as a homeschool Mum also. I play the Flute, Ukulele and Piano. I love my vege garden, my crazy puppy and exploring the many Nelson trails.
